In a joint partnership between South Carolina State Fire, the Palmetto Incident Support Team and the Incident Management Teams Association (IMTA), we announce an opportunity for Incident Management Team members to participate in the 2026 IMTA Training Academy.

Registration Process

All registrations are pending until pre-reqs are submitted and approved. Lodging and meals are additional costs.

Step 1: Select the the class to attend, indicate if lodging is needed, and submit payment. Once payment is confirmed a coupon code will be included in the confirmation email.Deadline to register with IMTA online is June 1, 2026.

Step 2: Enter coupon code on NETC's admissions site; include all pre-req documentation.
Deadline to complete NETC admissions is June 8, 2026.

Step 3: A review panel confirms submitted applications & supporting documents, then formal acceptance will be sent by June 8, 2026.

Lodging:

Dorms may sell-out, register early!

S.C. State Fire campus, single-occupancy lodging is offered in the dormitory, first come, first served at a rate of $55/night. Bedding and towels are provided. (select the nights you need on the registration form)

Meals:

$20 for each day. All students attending this event will be responsible for paying for their daily breakfast/lunch in the campus cafeteria. Dinner is on your own.

Transportation:

Airport: Closest airport is Columbia International Airport (CAE).

Shuttles: Palmetto IST is willing to provide airport pick up/drop off for attendees staying on the State Fire campus and to shuttle back/forth from the partner hotel, so they can avoid renting a car.


CANCELLATION, REFUND & PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY

Refund Policy:
IMTA will refund event registrations fees minus a $75 administrative fee with notifications submitted via e-mail at ahimta@ahimta.org. All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing by June 9, 2026. Requests made in writing after June 9, 2026 will not receive a refund. Refunds cannot be approved for no-shows. Attendee badge sharing, splitting, and transfers are strictly prohibited.

Event Cancellation or Postponement:
IMTA reserves exclusive right to modify, postpone/reschedule or cancel programs for any reason, including but not limited to emergency, inclement weather or other 'acts of God'. If there is an event cancellation, every attempt will be made to reschedule, and registration fees will be applied to the rescheduled event date. Any travel, lodging, or incidental expenses incurred related to a cancelled event cannot be refunded under any circumstances. If a cancelled event cannot be rescheduled, IMTA will determine an equitable basis for the refund of a portion or all of the registration fees, after due consideration of circumstances and expenditures.

Consent to Use of Photographic Images
Registration and attendance at, or participation in, IMTA meetings and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to the use and distribution of the registrant or attendees' image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions and audiotapes of such events and activities by IMTA and other third parties, including but not limited the venue, the host city and the host CVB. Attendee Code of Conduct

By registering you acknowledge that all IMTA event attendees are expected to behave in a professional manner while attending the symposium which includes drinking responsibly and not engaging in any harassing behavior.
