AWARDS PURPOSE & INTENT
The purpose and intent of the All Hazards Incident Management Teams Association Awards Program is to recognize those individuals and teams that work tirelessly and go above and beyond the contributions of a normal member, to advance the mission of the AHIMTA or support the AHIMTA.
AWARDS SELECTION COMMITTEE
- The awards selection committee shall be chaired by a member of the AHIMTA Membership Committee.
- The Board of Directors shall each appoint one representative from each region to sit on the awards selection committee.
- The Chair of the Membership Committee shall appoint additional Membership Committee members as needed to sit on the awards selection committee.
- The awards selection committee shall meet and review all awards submissions, choose the best candidate(s), and present those selections to the Board of Directors Executive Committee for final approval.
2024 AWARDS PROGRAM TIMELINE
- Tuesday, February 12th, 2024 Award Nominations Open
- Friday, February 23rd, 2024 Award Nominations Close @ 2:00pm EST
- Monday, February 26th, 2024 Awards Committee Selection Deadline
- Monday, March 4th, 2024 Candidates Presented to AHIMTA Board
AWARDS SUBMISSIONS
- Awards submissions shall be submitted electronically using a form built in Survey 123, Microsoft Forms, or a similar platform.
- Awards submissions shall be open for a period of two weeks.
- Any AHIMTA member is eligible to submit nominations.
- The Membership Chair and the AHIMTA Administrator shall verify that each candidate is an AHIMTA member in good standing.
- For awards with time requirements, the determining date shall be the first day of the month in which the Symposium takes place (e.g. March 1, 2024)

At the heart of AHIMTA are those individuals who give so freely of their time to further the AHIMTA mission. This award acknowledges an outstanding individual for their extraordinary efforts in helping their fellow incident management professionals by supporting AHIMTA.Number of Awards:
